Fibreglass pools are made with resins and gelcoats applied to large moulds. Once cured, they’re removed from the mould, trimmed to shape and quality inspected and tested prior to installation.
Fibreglass pools are essentially pre-made shells, so the installation process is simply a matter of excavating the area, setting in the pool shell, and connecting the plumbing and filtering systems.

While all pools fade over time, the colour fade you can expect from a fibreglass pool’s gelcoat surface is gradual and even. Regardless, a fibreglass gelcoat surface is the most durable pool coating available.

Of all pool types, fibreglass pools require the least maintenance. You only need to maintain the water chemistry once a week and don’t need to worry about algae growth like you would with a concrete pool.
Alongside thorough cleaning and keeping your pool covered while not in use, ensure that your water chemistry remains within the required levels and recommendations.
Maintenance
We recommend testing your water twice a week during high use seasons to keep an eye on your pH levels, chlorine levels, alkalinity and calcium harness. Ensure your pool filter pump and its filtration system are also in good working order.
Liberal site access is preferred to excavate soil for installing a fibreglass pool. However, even with just 2m wide site access, it is possible – it will just mean a lengthier process.

Our longest pool reaches 11m in length and our deepest pool reaches 2m in depth.
It is recommended that you run one circulation of your filtration system once per day.
It is recommended that you vacuum your pool once every three days.
